Enjoy the festival WOMAD Cáceres

Since for two decades has been held every month of may in Cáceres a great cultural event that brings together people from around the world to celebrate the joy of music, as an expression of culture, together with dances from five continents putting a multiethnic note of color in this beautiful city.
It's the WOMAD, an unusual festival for various reasons, which include the roaming of the different scenarios across streets, squares and corners of this jewel of architecture which is the historical helmet of the Monumental city of CáceresWorld Heritage site by UNESCO

During the celebration of the festival you can enjoy, in addition to the music and dance, all kinds of exhibitions, film cycles, puppets, painting and dance workshops, you can learn to play instruments from various countries, or even visit a market of global crafts where you can buy any pledge or complement decorative items, dishes and spices. In short, enjoy the WOMAD means look out of the world in all its diversity.
A weekend in which expected a perfect time to visit this city, but not before take the Guide Vesconte de Cáceresis held between 12 and 15 may, this year.
For this edition there to highlight the actions of Cuban Ska, Candi Staton, or Kiko Veneno, not to mention groups Extremadura as the Skalabraos, Felisa Vega, the voyage of Rose or Barrunto Bellota Band. And, also, to celebrate two decades of WOMAD Cáceres, Radio3 broadcast the festival live.
